The Hospital Transformation Performance Program (HTPP), approved by the Oregon Legislature in 2013, is funded by the Hospital Provider Assessment Program which is paid by the 28 Diagnosis Related Group (DRG) hospitals in Oregon. A portion of the funds from this program are pooled together and awarded to the DRG hospitals based on their performance on the 11 patient safety and quality measures listed below.
Oregon Association of Hospitals and Health Systems (OAHHS), Apprise Health Insights, and the Oregon Health Authority (OHA) are working in collaboration with these 28 hospitals to meet their quality improvement goals by providing resources and technical assistance for process improvement. See below for links to the OAHHS content webinars and slides. Click here for more information on the HTPP program, measure specifications, and other OHA resources.
